It’s great to focus on the positives in life, it’s actually a must in order to maintain a good mindset and be productive. Differing opinions don’t matter, they aren’t negatives. It’s part of life and everyone has their view of things that is filtered through their past experiences. We can see things differently and still get along just fine because we want to get along.
However, people with extreme viewpoints are detrimental to the well-being of society. They reject common sense and have no respect for others. They don’t want to hear, they only want to be heard. It’s a mental condition brought on by deep rooted hurt or anger from personal issues that they project on to a cause or belief that they are “passionate about”. It’s their way of venting the built up poisons in their mind from things that they need to handle in their own life. There is no reasoning with them because they have no reason, only uncontrolled emotions.
There are extreme people in all walks of life, all religions, all races and every political side. Fortunately they are a minority because most of us are all about compromise and living life in harmony. So, if you get a chance, tell an extremist to quiet down, get some counseling for those personal issues so the rest of us can have some peace. – Coov
